The Congregation of the Mission (C.M.), often known as Vincentian Fathers and Brothers or Lazarists, is a community of Roman Catholic priests and brothers founded by St. Vincent de Paul in 1625 for the evangelization of the poor and the formation of the clergy. Vincentian priests and brothers total over 3,000 worldwide and serve in 86 countries.
Our website for the entire Congregation of the Mission can be found here. ( http://cmglobal.org/en/about/ )
About 200 years ago, Italian Vincentians first arrived to US in response to the request by Bishop Louis DuBourg of New Orleans to help him establish the seminary in this new territory. 2 of them were Blessed Felix de Andreis and Bishop Joseph Rosati, the first Bishop of Archdiocese of St. Louise. Now, we have three provinces in the US and we belong to the Western Province of USA. ( https://www.vincentian.org/ )
Here at St. Anne Catholic Church, as part of our response to the needs to serve the increasing number of Catholics in Arkansas, we have been serving this wonderful community in North Little Rock, since 2004. Here are the past Vincentian priests who served at St. Anne.
